International Woman's Day (国际妇女节)

Residents gathered at Bukit Batok East Point Mall on 6th March 2010 to celebrate International Women's Day. Besides learning to do simple handicrafts and making "mua chee", residents were also entertained with games and songs. Mdm Halimah graced the event and also provide valuable advice to all participants, especially to the ladies, who being caregivers in their families, should also care for their own health and do regular health checks.
在2010年3月6日，居民聚集在武吉巴督东角购物中心，庆祝国际妇女节。除了学习做简单的工艺品和“嘛籽”，居民们还一起玩游戏和欣赏歌曲。 我们的国会议员哈丽玛女士也是提供宝贵意见，特别是对女士们，在他们照顾家庭以外，也应关心自己的健康，做定期健康检查。

Bukit Batok East Zone 3 Residents’ Committee and Bukit Batok East Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee has jointly organised the Parents’ Day cum Senior Citizens' Birthday Celebration. The ticket is sold at S$20.00 per person. That includes sit down dinner, Variety Show and Lucky Draw.
