1 Day Malaysia Tour on 16/6/2013 (Sunday)

Zone 3 RC had a trip to Desaru on 16/6/2013 (Sunday).

Residents gather 6am at the RC Centre and start the journey to Malaysia.

We visited the Fruit Farm, 

Tour the 180 acres Tropical Fruitland, Desaru Fruit Farm is

awarded the "Best Agro-Tourism Site" in Malaysia 2006. Learn more about the Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), the Integrated Pest Management (IPM), collect information at our inhouse Agriculture Gallery. Visit the Herbal & Vegetable Garden, & sit-in through an
Educational Bee Keeping Management talk. See the bee at work & tasting of raw honey in their farm.
Enjoy your Buffet Lunch & Fruits Fiesta at Desaru Fruit Farm.
Grab some Local Products or Fresh Fruits at our Mini Mart in the Fruit Farm.
After that we  proceed to Ostrich Farm 

The world’s largest bird – Ostrich Farm where they breed more than 200 ostriches. Experience how to handle the world largest egg by feeling and holding them. Try to 

cuddle the cuttiest chick! 

Dinner at Kota Tinggi restaurant and depart for the memorable Fireflies Viewing in Kota Tinggi.

The firefiles were like thousands of very dim fairy lights on a forest of 'Christmas trees'.

Everyone enjoyed the tour very much!

When we reach Singapore is about midnight due to jam at both custom.

Dragon Boat Festival on 9/6/2013 (Sunday)

Residents gathered for a night of cultural performance. NEA and volunteers put up an educational booth which showed the residents of various precautions to take in dengue prevention. Madam Halimah also
encouraged the residents to continue to celebrate each others' festivals as it is uniquely Singapore to have
various races celebrating together.

House Cleaning on 9/6/2013 (Sunday)

On 9/6/2013(Sunday), Zone 3 RC with the volunteers from the Immanuel Community Church together clean the resident house (needy family).
After almost half a day of cleaning the house, you may see the different from the picture-before and after, and you may see the smile from the resident !
Zone 3 RC Chairman would like to say thank to the volunteers from the Immanuel Community Church, whom give the love to our needy family.

Our RC organized a day tour to visit Singapore Science Centre, "Megabugs Return" exhibition, 3D bug movie and Kin Yah Agrotech Pte Ltd.
