Journey Around Singapore 新加坡环岛玩透透

It was a beautiful sunday on 29/7/2012,as residents gathered at Bukit Bukit Zone 3 RC, waiting to start the tour around Singapore!

The first place we visited is RSAF Museum - It captures the spirit and heritage of the RSAF. The theme for the entire display is "Men,Machine and Method."

The 2nd place is the Mushroom Farm - Singapore's only specialist mushroom grower, producing quality, fresh, natural and chemical-free mushrooms. We learn how mushrooms are grown, harvested and packed.Residents also purchased fresh mushrooms at the farm. In-house Guided Tour brought us to the grow rooms where we can see how the shiitakae and oyster mushroom are cultivated on 'logs' at 15c to 20c.

The 3rd place was the Orchidville Farm - It is the largest orchid farm in Singapore, occupying 43 hectares of land in Mandai Agro Technology Park.

The 4rd place was where we tasted the famous roti prata, at a shop which located at Jalan Kayu.

Followed by coach tour around the Seletar Air Hub, and Ponggol Wetlands which is a new reservoir.

The last point was Lorong Harus which is also a new reservoir!

The trips was enjoyable. Special thank to our friendly tour guide and cooperative participants!

7月29日美丽的星期天，居民聚集在武吉巴督东第3居委会中心，耐心又兴奋地等待旅遊车的到来以便出发精彩的一日遊！

今天的地点都在东部，这让我们远在西部的都大开眼界！

第1景点是参观空军博物馆

各式各样旧式的战备机玲琅满目，他们的制服和控制系统等等。让我们进一步了解空军的历史， 我们都在这里留下美好的记忆并且拍照留恋。

第2景点是蔴菇农场

在工作人员的讲解之下让我们对蔴菇的栽种有了进一步的了解！并且还品尝了当场烹调的蔴菇，大家吃得津津有味！

第3景点是兰花园

位于万礼路，大家期待着能看到美丽綻放的兰花，却是大失所望！借于搬迁事故兰花不在綻放！

到了午餐时间，是享用美食的时候！

位于惹兰加由一间著名的印度餐馆，当一盘盘香喷喷的印度煎饼放在你的眼前时，可让你垂涎三尺！

接着参观美丽的榜鹅蓄水池和惹兰哈卢的湿地

阳光斜照下，大家带着兴奋又疲备的身体回了到武吉巴督，结束了精彩的一日遊而留下了难忘的一天！

Balloon Scultpuring Workshop 3 第3期的氣球雕塑课程

Orange Ribbon Walk - 7 July 2012

It’s a wonderful evening as families gathered at the Marina Bay Sands, walking happily in the light drizzle,enjoyed the ethnic food and fun games, as well as the attractive multi-cultural, high-energy percussions and dance performances.

Thanks to all the families who joined in the walk and we hope that residents would continue to give their full support to future events!!
